I must say that for me breakfasts at their restaurants were the highlight of my stay. It was a true 5-star breakfast, with the most delicious buffet, a la carte menu, live piano music and a relaxing, elegant atmosphere. It was always a moment that I cherished and enjoyed. I also love how accommodating the place is for pets. My dog got a beautiful bed, and snacks and was allowed in many places around the hotel. If you are a parent, this hotel will not disappoint you either, the kids’ club is spacious, with great care providers and many activities. There is even a space for children to sleep. Children can also have lunch over there so it’s perfect for everyone.
Giardino Mountain
For those looking for a stylish, yet cosy retreat, Giardino Mountain provides a contemporary alpine experience with a touch of Mediterranean flair. Their Ayurveda spa is a must-visit for relaxation after a day on the slopes. The hotel’s on-site restaurants, such as Hide & Seek, offer exquisite gourmet cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. There is a Stuva restaurant that serves Swiss cuisine and Michelin-star Ecco. Also, Breakfast deserves a mention. Apart from the buffet they offer a wonderful a la carte menu with healthy and some bougie options. Giardino Mountain is also known for its warm and personalized service, making it a favourite among discerning travellers. They help with the ski rental, provide shuttle to the slopes and help to organize winter activities. On-site, there is a Kids club that welcomes children from 3 years, but they also organized a nanny for my 2-year-old boy. To summarize a stay at Giardino Mountain, I must say it was idyllic, rich in experiences but also so relaxing. The whole family did what we loved, my husband was skiing, I was enjoying the spa area, kids were playing and we also enjoyed the dining experience and calm time in our mountain suite.
Grace La Margna St. Moritz
A relatively new addition to the St. Moritz scene, Grace offers boutique-style luxury with impeccable service. Its stunning interiors blend traditional Swiss charm with a modern twist, making it an excellent choice for discerning travellers. The hotel’s prime location near the town centre allows guests to explore the best of St. Moritz while enjoying top-notch hospitality. I was staying there with a friend, so I focused on a different experience than when I travel with a family. We loved the location of the hotel and often went to the centre and the lake. We also loved sitting in the stunning lobby and drinking hot chocolate.
