My Red Carpet looks for the Cannes Film Festival.
The 75th Cannes Film Festival finished last week. I think we all had a dose of excitement by watching stars appearing on the red carpet. For most people, this festival is a dream. Luckily for me this year I could return to Cannes and see it with my own eyes. And what did I notice? This year has been buzzing with energy, many screenings, events and people from all over the world. It was nice to see Cannes being back to its usual festival extravaganza. Seeing amazingly dressed women and men too. Spotting some of my favourite actors and seeing movie premieres. I could only come for a few 4 days. However, it was enough to experience the festival, riviera life and see my friends. I wanted to share with you my red carpet looks, and the essentials that I packed for Cannes. In case you would like to know what to take with you to Cannes Film Festival next year. Then I have you covered! And if you are looking for a full must-have list of items to pack, please also check this article. Now, without further ado please check below my red carpet looks and short explanation.

Red Carpet Look for The Holy Spider Premiere.
For this premiere, I decided to create more of a princess look. Why now? We all want to feel like princesses once in a while even though we stand hard on earth. When I first saw this dress on the catwalk during the MFW I fell in love. This dress is designed by emerging talent from Italy Gianluca Alibrando. I have been following his career since I saw his fashion show in 2019. It was a show by Emerging Talents Milan in a beautiful Palazzo Visconti. When Gianluca proposed to me to wear his dress I liked this idea. Later I thought that Red Carpet in Cannes is the perfect opportunity for it. To be perfectly honest with you wearing this dress was a challenge. The dress itself is really large and heavy, but thanks to this it really made an impression. People were taking pictures of me on my way to the carpet and were asking me where is it from. Therefore I assume it worked well. What I love about this dress is the top that is made from a large flower. It has beautiful shiny material in a deep burgundy colour. It is really so different to what I have seen that day on the carpet. And yes, I have seen a lot of wonderful gowns. Especially that Sharon Stone, Noomi Rapace and Alicia Vikander were walking on the carpet just after me.
Such a statement dress didn’t need much to shine, so I decided just to have some jewels in my hair and more of a simple handbag.
I paired it with Alila mini Croco handbag in a matching colour.
Hair and Make-up
Hair & Make-up. For the hair, my hairstylist Mariola decided to go big and to my thin hair some volume and curls. A sparkling headband was focused instead of jewellery.
The make-up created by Monika was soft and thoughtful. She countered my face and focused on the cheeks. She used pink and gold eyeshadows and liquid eyeliner. As she said:
Liquid eyeliner is the ultimate movie stars trick to add more attention to the eyes.
For this look, Monika kept my lips natural and kept my eyes as the main focus point.
Red Carpet Look for R.M.N. Premiere and TV Program for FRANCE TV
Another day another look. For this premiere and interview for France TV, I also was wearing a gown by Gianluca Alibrando. This time it was a red dress that caught my heart. It’s a dress that makes an impression. It’s not only made in a seductive deep red but also has a large slit that shows the whole leg. Not to mention a very low neckline. It’s a very feminine and sexy dress and was also very well perceived among the audience of the festival.
I paired it with large earrings from the Natkina brand, a Geneva-based jewellery company created by a Ukrainian mother and daughter.
Hair and Make-up
For this dress, the hairstylist decided to create a simple and sleek high bun. Regarding make-up, the make-up artist worked more with the eyes and lips. She added gold and copper eyeshadows and red lipstick on the lips.
