The saga of the Mandarin Oriental, Savoy Zurich dates back to the early 20th century, a time of opulence and sophistication. Originally built in 1838, the hotel quickly became a beacon of luxury, attracting discerning travellers and dignitaries from around the globe. Its prime location, overlooking the picturesque shores of Lake Zurich, only added to its allure, offering guests unparalleled views of the city’s skyline and the majestic mountains beyond.

That is how MO Savoy Zurich was born.

Amidst this tapestry of luxury and sophistication lies the pièce de résistance – the Orsini Restaurant. Named after the illustrious Italian noble family, renowned for their passion for fine cuisine, this gastronomic haven promises an unforgettable dining experience that tantalizes the senses and brings us on a culinary journey through Italy’s rich culinary heritage.
Under the expert guidance of Executive Chef Chef Antonio Guida, Orsini Restaurant showcases the very best of Italian cuisine. Menu inspired by the freshest seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes passed down through generations. From homemade pasta to succulent seafood and decadent desserts, each dish is a masterpiece of flavour and finesse, meticulously crafted to delight even the most discerning palate.

Apart from Orsini Restaurant hotel guests and visitors can also experience other culinary delights. For example French Inspired food at Savoy Brasserie & Bar or snacks and drinks at the Lounge. There also will be a rooftop bar 1838 with panoramic views, but it will be open from May to September.
My suite visit.
We have stayed at an amazing Corner Suite with Balcony King Bed. It is a 60 sqm suite with a historical landmarks view. I could see a bustling Paradeplatz and the iconic Bahnhofstrasse. There was a private balcony, king bed and a sitting area with a large sofa.
Materials such as walnut, bronze and brass have been used alongside custom textiles to create a luxurious, contemporary feel. All suites feature a marble bathroom with walk-in shower and bath.
We had a nice bar area where we could make coffee and use well-equipted mini-bar. We loved it so much, that we ordered breakast and some dinners to the room. All these meals were so delicious.
We have stayed with our 6 years old son and he also felt very welcomed and coforbale.
Why you need to visit Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich.
If you ask me why you should stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel right now I would right away stated these 5 reasons.
Top Location. – It’s easy to arrive with all transport or even walk from the train station if you wish as it’s only a 10 min walk.
Rooms. – Luxurious finishes, marble bathrooms, comfortable beds. Just stunning.
Restaurants.- A sophisticated choice of restaurants and menus. From stunning bar to historical Orsini restaurant.
Crowd. – Elegant and sophisticated. It’s nice to walk in the lobby and admire well-dressed people who appreciate beautiful things in life.
Outstanding hospitality, service and comfort.- 5 * plus service that makes you come back. The staff is extremely helpful and lovely. The room is always beautifully prepared and it feels like home.
And a bonus: You can wear a gorgoeus kimono all day long.

Boutique Hotel Panorama Crans-Montana is surrounded by the unique nature of the Swiss Alps. There are breathtaking views all around the hotel that I fell in love with. Crans-Montana is one of my favourite ski resorts in Switzerland. I love it, especially because of the unforgettable views, lovely town centre and nice ski domains. Hotel Panorama is located around 10 min drive to Crans, but the hotel offers the transfer to town and ski stations. Being a bit further to the city means that it’s more peaceful and calmer. However it’s still easy to get to beautiful Crans-Montana, but it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle without breaking the bank. You will be surprised about the amazing quality of food at the restaurant, cosy evening by the fire and spa with one of the most trending beauty brands recently – Babor. Llaollao frozen yogurts are most famous froyos in the world. If you are in ice cream fan like me. You want to enjoy them without compromising on calories intake, then Llallao is just the perfect solution for you. Llaollao Geneva is present in Geneva since 2017 and located right in the city center on Rue du Marche. There are 2 more outlets in Geneva’s shopping malls, one in “La Praille” since 2018 and one in Balexert. The 2nd one was just recently opened, in summer 2021. They also have a foodtruck that is selling froyo in different places in cantons of Geneva and Vaud. This foodtruck can also be rented for private events.
Llaollao Geneva is one of my favourite dessert places destination. It’s just perfect on the go. I like to step into one of their boutiques when running errands in town or shopping in La Praille or Balexert. I love to grab a frozen yoghurt dessert on a hot day or a hot chocolate in the cooler months. It is always on my list when I am shopping with my 4 years old son or when we are going to the cinema
