Milan Fashion Week SS23 was a fabulous event, full of wonderful fashion shows, press presentations and wonderful street style. It really felt like before the Covid time, as all events were physical, the city was booming with fabulous energy and everything was fully booked. I have seen many shows and presentations and it’s hard to include them all on my webzine. In this article, I decided to cover fabulous Spring Summer 2023 Shoe Collections. There are many pictures, as words mean less in this case. I hope that you will enjoy the selection that I prepared. Milan Fashion Week SS23 – Giuseppe Zanotti.
Giuseppe Zanotti is an Italian luxury shoe company that produces shoes that truly are a dream. For Spring Summer 2023 Collection Mr Zanotti presented ultra-feminine and chic designs. The colour palette was dominated by classic black. There were also mirror accents and multicolour effects. As always there were a lot of jewels, luxurious accessories and embroideries. Many ankle straps were studded with crystals, that were shining like diamonds. Could see a classic design with a changed and new pointed sole. Even his high platforms had a balanced and harmonious shape.
It was also a true pleasure for me to meet Giuseppe Zanotti personally and speak with him shortly about the collection. He is an extraordinary designer, truly there are not so many geniuses like him.
Spring Summer 2023 and Gianvito Rossi.
Gianvito Rossi during Milan Fashion Week SS 23 presented a glamorous collection. All the shoes are festive, with stone embellishments in intense colours. Gianvito Rossi uses natural stones like jades, opals, turquoise and amethyst. He adds them on the high gladiator sandals, stiletto heels and mules. Shoes are presented like a rainbow. From red, yellow, pink and green. They are often mixed together to create the rainbow effect. The new proportions that the designer used in the Spring Summer 2023 collection enhance the silhouette. These shoes are beyond trends and remain ultra-feminine.
Sergio Rossi and their gorgeous ultra-feminine Heels
I was looking forward to seeing Sergio Rossi’s spring summer 2023 collection with great anticipation. In the new Sergio Rossi collection, I could see a beautiful synergy. A synergy through bold styles and ultra-feminine allure. The collection presented was modern yet still very classic. It unfolded the new Sergio Rossi woman. A woman that is bold, sensual and able to express whole new femininity to explore. It really is about exploring new ways of wearing shoes. Making them a piece of art.
The styles are inspired by models from the 2000s. With attention to architecture, volumes and lines. It’s a daring, ultra-glamour collection. This style perfectly reflects the versatile soul of Sergio Rossi.
When it comes to colours, we can see timeless black but also bold colours. Colours like Magenta, Mandarine, Apple, Light Rose and Lavender. Materials used are crepe satin, calfskin, PVC and patent leather. There are crystals used in large quantities, on straps and also on the front of the heels, to make the shoes shine. Shine like a diamond.
Casadei – Luxury made in Italy
Casadei presentation during Milan Fashion Week SS23 has been magical. The brand took us to the beautiful garden full of green leaves and trees.
Casadei launched itself to the future by focusing on the NFT world and virtual space. It all happened thanks to Arianna Casadei, Cesare’s daughter. Casadei invited users into a retro-futuristic metropolis. Among skyscrapers, mega screens and neon lights. You can find this project here.
Regarding the Spring Summer 2023 collection, we could see true avant-garde, sexiness and experimentation. The highlight of the presentation was a heel that is a reminiscent chair by Danish designer Verner Panton. These shoes are called Elodie, and they are the “landscape shoe”. However, we could also see many different pumps, platforms, sandals and slingbacks. As a novelty, an unprecedented handwritten 3D logo was printed on shoes. It’s a new dimension of shoe making.
Le Silla – Colors and Flowers
Le Silla for Spring and Summer 2023 prepared fabulous designs. Full of colours, bold shapes and feminine details. Shoes from Le Silla will never go unnoticed. It will happen thanks to the original designs, intense colours, but also accessories. There are flowers attached to the sandals and even to gladiator heels, feathers and other accessories. Silver chains and crystals are absolutely everywhere. There create a dream for a woman, add luxury to the footwear and delicate beauty. Le Silla shoes are ultra-feminine, beautiful like an art piece and timeless.
Luciano Padovan – Brand known from Sex and the City TV Show
I wrote a full article about the Luciano Padovan brand and you can find it here. Their Spring Summer 2023 Collection showcased many new shoes and also handbag designs. They presented heart-shaped shoes. The new – cloud handbags that are ultra-light thanks to the special material used. The collection as always was very feminine and sexy. Luciano Padovan’s shoes are a bit extravagant, beautiful and full of intense colours. For Spring and Summer, 2023 designers also presented us with comfy sandals, pumps and platforms. The most desired colours are silver, gold and Fuschia. Often different colours are presented together, like fuchsia and green. They are truly bold and always feminine.

AGL during Milan Fashion Week SS23 presented a collection full of platforms, sandals and mules. All have exuberated shapes typical for the brand DNA. We could see frills, but also gems encrusted on the leather shoe designs. Dominating colours were gold, red and pink. Shoes for Spring and Summer 2023 are chunky, bold and of the highest quality.
Definitely, Spring Summer 2023 will belong to platforms and sparkling shoes. Giuseppe Zanotti’s Shoes will shine like diamonds. Gianvito Rossi Heels will be full of colours. Casadei is offering us chunky platforms and NFT solutions.
