My dear friends, fashion month is over, but only now I finally had time to share with you my experience with digital MFW FW 21/ 22 and my Visual Diary. In general I don’t watch many virtual fashion shows, as there is so many of them and it’s hard to choose so stick to few , like Chanel and Dior. When I heard that MFW will also have physical events and fashion shows and got so excited and booked my train ticket and hotel straight away.
This year fashion week calendar was a little bit changed and started only on 24th of February ( a week later than normally), which means that for the first time since a long time I didn’t celebrate birthday in Milan. Which was my little tradition since a while now. When I arrived to Milan weather was wonderful, shops and restaurant were open and we could experience a tiny bit of fashion week vibes. There was just one large issue, there was no street style this time, there was no colorful outfits and famous bloggers/ models/ celebrities everywhere. It was a little bit sad as Milan Street style is one of the biggest inspiration for me.
In this post I will share with you my looks, that are easy going. I was mostly wearing pieces from a luxury consignment and gave these often vintage pieces new life, but also pieces from my wardrobe and from my favorite brand Three Floor.
In my text I will also write a little bit about the brands that opted for the real experience and gave us something so unique, touching and beautiful. They also gave us hope that even though fashion industry is changing and adopting to the new reality real shows will still take place, as designers and brands also seek contact with real people as they are their ultimate reason to create.
I. Martino Midali Presentation and Interview
Martino Midali is medium-high end women’s clothing brand Martino Midali, which bears the name of the designer who founded it in late seventies in Milan. It was a pleasure to speak with Mr. Midali about his beginigns as a designer and his book, that was published this year: “The fabric of my life, an interweaving of weft and warp”, written with Cinzia Alibrandi.
I am wearing: Céline vintage jacket in pink tartan; Maison Michel hat in burgundy; Fendi Kan I F bag in red velvet (all from Downtown Uptown Genève) and Strong earrings from Lov & Lav Switzerland, Very old jeans Zara) Gucci Scarf and Puma sneakers.
II. Emerging Talents Milan – Fashion Show
It was the only fashion show that I attended this season and it was a true pleasure to watch stunning collections in a dreamy Paazzo Visconti. I already wrote an article about Emerging Talents Milan fashion show, you can find it here.
I was wearing: Lacroix Luxe vintage dress in burgundy and Louis Vuitton fantasy necklace and Fendi Kan I F bag in red velvet ( all from Downtown Uptown Géneve) and Michael Kors pumps in burgundy.
III. Amato Daniele Presentation and workshop visit
Visit at Amato Danieleduring Milan Fashion Week was a big surprise for me, as before I never heard about this brand and now I know why. It’s a well kept secret, as this is where large brands are making their iconic brands and royal families are coming to select their iconic pieces. We had a chance to also see the workshop and how beautiful handbags, shoes and accessories are made since 19th century. They use unique materials, traditional workmanship. Everything passed on from generation to generation.
Three Floor TIED UP Jumpsuit from London Affair Collection.
IV. Max Mara Showroom visit
I don’t have to introduce that brand, as we all know Italy’s largest fashion house Max Mara. Founded in 1951 in Reggio Emilia. Together with Yvonne we had a pleasure to visit their showroom, where also collections from Sportmax and Max & Co. are presented and we also could shoot few looks from Milan Fashion Week FW 21/22 Collection to show you.
In the showroom I was wearing Céline vintage skirt suit in pink tartan, Maison Michel hat in burgundy; Fendi Kan I F bag in red velvet (all from Downtown Uptown Genève) and my comfy Puma sneakers.

V. Eleventy Milano- Interview with Paolo Zuntini
For some of you I don’t need to introduce Eleventy brand as I was already speaking about this brand many times and wrote a short article last year for Brand Mooks, clinic here to read it. Eleventy was founded by Andrea Scuderi, Paolo Zuntini and Marco Baldassari in 2007 and they are growing and expanding ever since. All garments are made in Italy with the attention to details, traditional craftsmanship and high quality fabrics. They combine innovation and tradition and create most comfortable, effortless yet stylish clothing for men and women. This MFW I had a pleasure to interview Mr Zuntini for the 2nd time and speak about challenges that brand is acing during COVID, about sustainability and online shopping platforms, more about it soon on my blog.
I was wearing Hands On dress and faux fur from Three Floor. (With my code: BellaZofia you will receive 15% off on all articles on Three Floor Website).
