Philipp Plein Sets Milan on Fire with Rebelious, Modern Country Inspired Fall/Winter 2025 Show.

On March 1, 2025, Philipp Plein took Milan Fashion Week by storm with his highly anticipated Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The event was held at the soon-to-open Plein Hotel, a spectacle of extravagance, blending high fashion, luxury, and entertainment in true Plein style. It was my first time at the Plein Hotel and I can tell you that I was speechless. Philipp Plein thinks big, speaks about it and delivers even more. However, let me guide you more on the show as it was a true spectacle, full of incredible energy and the iconic Philipp Plein style.

Philipp Plein’s Fall/Winter 2025 show wasn’t just a runway event; it was a statement. Once again, he proved that his brand isn’t about following trends—it’s about setting them, breaking rules, and embracing excess with confidence.

A Venue as Bold as the Collection.

The Plein Hotel was the perfect stage for a show that blurred the lines between fashion and lifestyle. I was used to his gigantic shows, in locations like stadiums, so this was something else. The audience was more handpicked and selected. The venue was opened to the public in November and features high-end restaurants and opulent rooms (soon to be opened), reinforcing Plein’s vision of luxury that goes beyond clothing.

The Country Theme.

Plein’s latest collection stayed true to his signature aesthetic—bold and rebellious with a modern country theme. Show started with the Texas Hold ‘Em Song by Beyoncé and this set a mood for the rest of the défilé. There was even a mechanical bull placed in the club, that the models rode on.

The FW25 collection has taken inspiration from the Wild West, highlighting the brand’s daring style and vision of modernity. This season, the collection takes Cowboy Couture to a new level, embracing style that remains casual yet playful during the day whilst being elevated and bold throughout the evening wear. A highlight from the FW25 Collection is the brand’s signature Denim. The iconic country-classic, the blue denim jean, is paired with oversized denim shirts and striking overcoats where the remnants of the classic jean radiate throughout the season.

Pops of nostalgia are implemented through the use of the retro-American Flag, patterned into garments, enhancing the statement that PHILIPP PLEIN is known for. Mirrored across the collection is the brand’s understanding of dramatic luxury embedded into the country chic collection. Clean tailoring is met with rich hues of red, vibrant greens and blues, creating a trail ablaze for the runway.

The highlight of the season is the dazzling eveningwear, where each look is a testament to the brand’s versatility. Evening gowns are sleek and sultry, emblazoned in bold colors that radiate the iconic energy of the brand. Darker shades are used to polish off the men’s and women’s eveningwear, curating a cohesive array of looks fit for a modern Western.

Accessories consisted of Route 66-esque cowboy hats, roadtrip-worthy bags set to carry life from one state to the next and an array of shoes ranging from iconic red leather knee-high boots, utilitarian combat boots and the all American-classic sneaker.

The season showcased 51 Looks, including a mix of wear and menswear. Plein is making it official that fashion is for all, offering a comprehensive selection for fashion enthusiasts of all genders. The garments emphasized the dramatic flare that the brand is renowned for, where the season takes a journey throughout the West, for the contemporary cowboy embracing life.

Busta Rhymes Steals the Show.

Adding to the electrifying atmosphere, hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes delivered a high-energy performance that had the crowd on their feet. His dynamic stage presence and powerful beats perfectly complemented the show’s over-the-top aesthetic, proving once again that Plein’s events are more than just fashion—they’re full-blown spectacles.

Elegance with a spike. My Look for the show.

For the extravagant Philipp Plein event, I opted for a striking yet sophisticated and elegant look. I was wearing a white blazer with crystals and spikes embellishments on the shoulders, it embraced a mix of power and elegance. The structured silhouette completed incredible platform shoes and a delicate netted veil to add some mystery and softness. Complete look by Philipp Plein.
