Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini that will make you want to own each piece!
“I thought back to that feeling of joy and freedom I felt in the 90s, a period of growth, exploration of the world and of myself. The positivity and joy that I vividly remember are the key to this collection which I dedicate to those who have the ourage to express themselves and their individuality”

Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini – Pre-Fall 22 Punk Romance Collection
A new romanticism injected with a rebellious and audacious vibe.
The Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini collection. Portrays a rediscovered light-heartedness that gives the female body full awareness of its own beauty and a desire to show it by wearing clothes that make women feel free. The images shot by Steven Meisel and Mark Borthwick for the Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini advertising campaigns from the 90s. Under the creative direction of Alberta Ferretti, show girls with innocent smiles, dreamy eyes. Tells the tale of a generation that faced the technological revolution with disenchantment. The mix of micro-prints, the freedom of fringe, the sensual bias-cut for lacquer red slip dresses. The pleated flared bottom trousers, the romantic micro-tops and the bold graphic black dresses. All of it creates a wardrobe for which the word “freedom” becomes the central theme. All-over florals and different hues are the key ingredients of an eclectic and extreme 90’s mix that shows a strong and empowered body. The finale is a combination of black and white: white lace, a symbol of Philosophy’s romanticism, and minimal black. Delicate and essential. The shoe of the season is the shiny leather platform, that lengthens the figure. Unstructured shopping bags with the slogan “Thanks for shopping with us” were designed to bring the mind back to reality.
The sunglasses are part of the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini eyewear collection produced by De Rigo.
For the Pre-Fall 2022 season, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini is inspired by the unique style and attitude of Siouxsie Sioux, the undisputed queen of punk.
The signature look, defined by punk accents with a glam spirit, is reflected in Lorenzo Serafini’s newest collection. Philosophy’s iconic, the new romantic aesthetic is updated with a grittier, tougher allure, offering a versatile, eclectic wardrobe for independent and confident women.
Like Siouxsie, they are ready to steal the spotlight dressed in eye-catching looks tinged with a dose of unapologetic femininity, as well as a sprinkle of frisky sensuality.
In keeping with the brand’s DNA, the overall mood is lighthearted: the Philosophy girls never take themselves too seriously.
This season, Serafini’s muses effortlessly style impeccable sartorial pieces with playful allover kitten prints. Juxtapose streamlined, elongated silhouettes with puffy volumes, creating a charming balance of different proportions.
Nocturnal flowers blossom on their mini dresses, while the seductive transparencies of their tulle frocks are counterbalanced by their point d’esprit graphic checkered patterns.
Graffiti motifs add a touch of urban effervescence to a collection that also embraces a flamboyant wildness, as seen through the vibrant green and turquoise zebra prints. Denim is enriched with flocked flowers or washed for a lived-in effect. A variety of knitted sweaters introduce the right dose of cosiness.
Philosophy’s hyper-romantic shirts with ruffled collars stand out. In addition, essential lines and minimal cuts define not only eco-mink fur shirt jackets and coats but special pieces embroidered with a cascade of lacquered sequins.
Metallic chained necklaces, audacious over-the-knee boots and edgy mirrored sunglasses complete the look of these badass babes, that are definitely ready to rock.
