Milan Streetstyle by Izabela Switon-Kulinska @bella_zofia
After the Copenhagen Fashion Week, that I attended in August I was very excited about FW at my favorite European city. Considering the situation it was clear that it won’t be the normal fashion week, especially that Milan was so badly affected during the pandemic, but Camera della Moda created a “phygital fashion week”, which is a mix between physical shows and digital ones. I had my doubts about going there as I haven’t received many invitations in advance, brands that have me on their guest lists decided to held digital fashion shows and on top of that Milan weather was suppose to be surprisingly bad. My expectations were low and yet I have spent absolutely amazing 5 days in Milan. I attended few nice fashion shows, met amazing people at the Fashion Hub VIP’s lounge, went to many Press Presentations and visited few showrooms. Had time to meet my friends and spend time with my fashion partner in crime Yvonne and even managed to do some shopping on the way. In short it was worth to go.
I could see how much Milan changed and how this city missed the fashion scene, guests from abroad, even streetstyle. Having said that I must say that due to regulations and very limited physical invitations many journalists, influencers and buyers decided not to come. I didn’t arrange photo shoots this time and in this post I will share with you in my Visual Diary pictures taken by different photographers outside of the fashion shows, that I attended. So it’s more of a Streetstyle visual diary.
I hope that you will like this so much different format too.
Trend: Houndstooth
This is a very classy pattern, that adds a little bit of androgynous look, however I styled it the way to still look feminine.
Jumsuit by Imprevu Belgium, brand that is fully sustainable, full of prints and different fabrics. In Switzerland it is available in Zurich and online.
I paired it with:
Chanel Vintage Pumps
Ideal of Sweden Croco Pouch
Gucci Sunglasses
and Swarovski Necklace.
As you can see on the 1st picture, my friend Yvonne (@funkyforty) was also wearing a blazer and a maxi dress from the same designer.

III. SPORTMAX
Trend: Houndstooth, pop of Orange and Knit maxi dress
It was a cold and rainy morning in Milan and I decided to stay warm and also stylish. I wore long knit dress from Brusnika Brand that is a little bit see-though, but it comes with little knitted shorts. As an ensemble Brusnika offers a cropped orange blazer that adds structure to the look.
I paired it with Gucci accessories:
Silk foulard, sunglasses and GG Marmont handbag.
Swarovski earrings and Aldo pumps.

IV. PORTS 1961
Trend: Tweed Blazer/ Dress and a baker-boy cap
This look is not really a trend it’s a style that lasts forever. I love tweed blazers, as they can be worn in so many ways. This designs can be a midi length blazer, dress or a coat. It has beautiful gold-toned buttons and gold belt.
I paired it with:
Baker-Boy Cap from Millé Milano
Valentino Garavani ‘Rockstud’ pumps
Gucci GG Marmont Handbag
and on video during Emerging Designers Fashion Show I paired the looks with:
Ideal of Sweden Croco Pouch
Chanel Vintage Pumps
Yvonne from @funkyforty was also wearing total look by Millé Milano

IV. Eleventy Milano Press Presentation Day
Trend: Asymmetric Shirt Dress
As always during the Fashion Week I was wearing design from my favorite British Label Three Floor. I took the advantage of the first sunny day during this MFW and wore this gorgeous BELLA dress, that is inspired with 1960s seaside look. I love its effortless silhouette and oversize bow at the back.
I paired it with white boots and handbag from my wardrobe.
