Beauty News: Roger & Gallet Fragrant Water Collection. All You Need To Know About Their New Fragrant Water Launched In 2022. FLEUR DE FIGUIER, ROSE And GINGEMBRE ROUGE Are A Must Try.

The brand has recently reorganized and relaunched its fragrance collection. Some fragrances are discontinued, and some are changed. The whole collection is created in a sustainable way including packaging. In July 2022 I had the pleasure to join a press launch event in Geneva to discover the novelties and find out more about the ART od Toiletry in 2022. I must say that I was enchanted with the beauty of new bottles and the delicate seducing scents that I discovered.

Roger & Gallet Fragrant Water Collection.

The Collection d’Eaux Parfumées / Collection of Wellbeing Fragrant Waters now includes 8 fragrances:

4 Relaxing Scents:

Rose.
Fleur de Figuier
Néroli
Feuille de Thé.

And 4 Energizing Scents:

Bois d’Orange,
Cédrat,
Fleur d’Osmanthus,
Gingembre Rouge.

In addition, the 4 fragrances for men launched in 2019 are still being made alongside the famous Jean Marie Farina Cologne, which is the most iconic toilet water for Roger & Gallet brand.

Rose ~ a reissue of the 2007 fragrance by perfumer Angéline Leporini.

“The carnal tenderness of the petals of the Damask Rose that stretches tirelessly over the skin like a soft balm.”

My opinion: This scent is calming yet voluptuous. Delicate, not too strong. I love perfumes with Rose of Damask so if you are also a fan of them then this scent might be your favourite. Blended with Italian mandarin, gives freshness. To buy click here.

Fleur de Figuier ~ a reissue of the 2013 fragrance by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

“A warm fig pulp accord refreshed by the restful shade of the tree’s leaves and the bittersweet note of grapefruit.”

My opinion: The scent of ripe figs reminds me of a siesta on a sunny afternoon. However, I also keep it on my desk and I use it frequently during the day to relax and feel like I am on holiday. It’s sweet and sexy. To buy click here.

Néroli ~ a reissue of the 2017 fragrance Néroli Facétie developed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin.

“Neroli, orange blossom, it’s all my origins. It is the Mediterranean side, radiant, warm, the joy of living, it is sharing. This Cologne, with its calming properties, relieves anxiety and eases the mind. ”

My opinion: It’s the ecstasy of the sun, summer and sunbath. Alongside Neroli there are honeyed and milky scents of orange blossom to recreate, to perfection, the sensation of golden skin. Sensual and seducing.

Feuille de Thé ~ a reissue of the 2017 fragrance Thé Fantasie developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas.

“The Feuille de The Wellbeing Fragrant Water was inspired by the pleasure of doing things in unconventional ways, thinking outside the box. We wanted something original, with a hint of lightness and playfulness at the same time.”

My opinion: a mixture of Ceylon black tea scent is enhanced by the freshness of Calabrian Lemon. It gives a fresh yet relaxing scent. The comforting and soothing scent will relax the tension. Ideal during a busy day or stressful times.

Bois d’Orange ~ a reissue of the 2009 fragrance by perfumer Dominique Ropion.

“A cocktail of juicy, freshly picked citrus fruits that puts a smile on your face, enhanced by the woody sensuality of patchouli.”

My opinion: This perfume is like an explosion of freshness and vitamins. You can nearly feel the combination of fresh and vibrant orange with a deeper scent of wood. They use the Essence of Bitter Orange which is very energising, gives hope and brings a smile. Ideal to lift up the mood. To buy this scent click here.

Cédrat ~ a reissue of the 2007 fragrance by perfumers Karine Dubreuil and Mathilde Bijaoui.

“The freshness in the open air of a pure zest of citron rubbed with wild aromatic notes: cardamom, basil, thyme.”

My opinion: This is a scent that makes me think about years when I lived in the Mediterranean. Wind on the face and the energy that it gave me. It’s a citrus scent, very aromatic thanks to cardamom, basil and thyme. These are not my favourite scents, but I must say that is a pleasant scent and I am sure it will be very popular.

Fleur d’Osmanthus ~ a reissue of the 2011 fragrance by perfumer Nathalie Lorson.

“A light brew of flowers with apricot scents enhanced by the powerful amber of benzoin.”

My opinion: It’s one of my favourite scents in the collection and definitely the best one in energised scents. It’s euphoric and tastes like sunny days and flowers. Fresh and fruity, sweet yet energizing. There are oils from apricot and Italian Mandarin, so delicious.

Last, but not least: Gingembre Rouge ~ a reissue of the 2014 fragrance by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Amandine Clerc-Marie.

“A deliciously candied ginger note spiced up with bright pink berries. A tangy delight that immediately makes your mouth water.”

My opinion: One of my favourites too. Dashing, the gourmand, sparkling. Gives energy and pleasure. Fresh yet sensual at the same time. Tonic and energizing ginger are mixed with sweet notes of berries and caramelised sensuality of Benzoin. It’s a delightful scent, sweet and fresh. To buy this water click here.

Roger & Gallet Fragrant Water or Wellbeing Water are available in 30 and 100 ml Eau Parfumée. So ideal for full size at home and smaller for travel or handbag. Both are very affordable. 100 ml costs- around 45.90 CHF (33 EURO) , 30 ml – around 23.80 CHF (17 EURO).

Roger & Gallet Fragrant Water Sustainable approach.

There are a lot of sustainable elements incorporated in the relaunch of the Roger & Gallet Fragrant Water Collection.

Starting with the bottle. The new bottle looks very sleek and elegant, has the iconic top and bottom but also is recyclable. The upper part of the bottle can be removed and only the glass part will remain. This is a new approach that is revolutionizing perfume packaging.
Natural ingredients. All ingredients in the fragrant water are natural and the minimum of it is 90%, some scents have even 95% of natural ingredients. Even the alcohol has natural origins and is made with beetroot.
The carton packaging is recyclable and also has all descriptions on it. So you can easily check the percentage of natural ingredients in each bottle.

Roger & Gallet House.

The Roger & Gallet house was created already in 1862, so it has a long tradition and expertise in the world of scents. It was created by two brothers-in-law: Armand Roger and Charles Gallet. they inherited the precious original Eau de Cologne and developed from there. The brand has never stopped innovating and dreaming. They are famous for their affordable perfumes and toiletry essentials. From soap bars to shower gels, first lip balms to perfumes.
